Chainsaw Man Memory Cards is a matching game with a twist: most pairs are not two copies of the same card. Out of eight pairs on the board, seven are two different characters linked by a connection from the story, such as partners, rivals, a devil and the hunter who holds its contract, or members of the same family. Only one pair is the same character twice.

That makes it as much a Chainsaw Man quiz as a memory test. Knowing which devil hunter called on the Fox Devil, or who counts as Denji's best friend, helps you find a match even when you cannot remember exactly where the card was.

How to Play Memory Cards

The game deals sixteen cards in a four-by-four grid. Before play starts, every card is shown face up for five seconds, so use that moment to memorise as many faces as you can. Then the cards flip over and the timer starts on your first flip.

Turn over two cards per move. If they are a valid pair, they stay face up and a Match Found banner names the link between them, such as a contract or a relationship. If not, both cards flip back after a second. Each match is worth ten points, for a maximum of eighty, and there are no lives, so you can always finish the board.

Memory Cards is one play per day. When you clear the board you see your time, moves and score, and signed-in players are ranked on the daily leaderboard by the fastest time recorded by the server.

Tips for Matching Faster

During the five-second preview, focus on one row or on the characters you know best rather than trying to memorise everything. Main characters like Denji, Power and Makima have many possible partners, so note where the minor devils and one-arc characters sit, since their pairs are easier to reason out.

Think in connections, not copies. When you flip Pochita, the obvious partner is Denji. When you flip a devil, ask who made a contract with it. When you flip a Hayakawa, look for family. If a flipped card has no clear partner on the board yet, it may be the one same-character pair.

Because the leaderboard ranks time rather than moves, a quick guess based on story knowledge is often better than a slow, careful sweep. Flip the card you think completes the pair straight away.
