CSM WORDLE

CSM Wordle is the chainsaw man wordle on Chainsawdle: the familiar five-letter word puzzle, rebuilt around the vocabulary of Tatsuki Fujimoto's series. Instead of everyday dictionary answers, the hidden word is always a term that fits the world of devils and devil hunters, the kind of word you would find in a chapter title or on a Public Safety incident report. You get six rows to find it.

It is a quieter game than the character guessers. There is no timer and no leaderboard, just you, a keyboard and six chances. The word is the same for every player on a given day, so it makes a good puzzle to compare with friends who also follow Denji, Power and Aki.

Type a five-letter guess with your physical keyboard or the on-screen keys and press Enter. There is no dictionary check, so any five letters are accepted, which means you can use a row purely to test letters if that helps.

Each tile then changes colour. Green means the letter is in the word and in the right position, yellow means it is in the word but somewhere else, and grey means it is not in the word at all. Repeated letters are only marked as many times as they really appear. The keyboard remembers the best colour each letter has earned, so you can see at a glance which letters are still worth trying.

Solve it within six rows to win. You can start up to four games a day with the New button, but the answer stays the same until the reset at midnight UTC. Your running score and number of games are kept in your browser, and signed-in players earn XP for a win.

Think like the series before you think like a dictionary. The answers lean on the imagery of Chainsaw Man: blood, fear, contracts, weapons and the grisly anatomy of devils. A first guess that spends common letters such as E, A, R, S and T still works, but a second guess built around a plausible devil word often gets you further than a generic one.

Watch for plural and past-tense endings. Many five-letter words in this theme are four-letter roots with an S added, so a yellow or green S in the last column is a strong signal. Double letters are also common in words like these, and the game only shows a second copy of a letter if the answer really has two.

Because there is no word-list check, your third or fourth row can be a deliberate probe. If you have three greens and several possible fillers, type a row that includes as many of the candidate letters as possible rather than guessing one real word at a time.
